MasterChef Australia Reveals Its Top Three.

Grand Finale Sunday, 9 August At 7pm On 10.

The race for the MasterChef Australia 2026 title is down to three, with Petro, Aaron and Vinnie securing their places in the Top 3.

After months of extraordinary cooking, high-pressure challenges and unforgettable moments in the MasterChef kitchen, the three talented amateur cooks have emerged from the Top 24, with the biggest challenges of their MasterChef journey still to come.

The countdown is now on to the MasterChef Australia Grand Finale, Sunday, 9 August at 7pm on 10, when one cook will ultimately be crowned MasterChef Australia champion for 2026.

And standing between the final two and the coveted title will be one of the world’s most formidable names in patisserie, Cherish Finden, who arrives in the MasterChef kitchen with an extraordinary Grand Finale challenge.

Tonight’s emotional elimination saw Petro already safe after securing immunity, leaving Aaron, Vinnie and Casper fighting for their place in the Top 3 by cooking dishes inspired by ingredients specially selected by loved ones from home.

Aaron was the first to secure his place alongside Petro with an outstanding dish celebrating garlic, before Vinnie joined them in the Top 3, bringing Casper’s remarkable MasterChef journey to an end.

Now, Petro, Aaron and Vinnie face a huge road to the Grand Finale as the battle to become MasterChef Australia 2026 intensifies.

On Sunday, 2 August at 7pm, the pressure briefly gives way to one of MasterChef’s favourite traditions, The Fun One, as the Top 3 turn the tables on judges Poh Ling Yeow and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

With the judges donning their aprons and stepping behind the benches, the contestants get the rare opportunity to judge their mentors before the Top 3 take them on in an epic feast challenge.

Then, on Monday, 3 August at 7.30pm, it’s back to business for the MasterChef Australia Semi Final.

Petro, Aaron and Vinnie must each deliver a two-course fine dining experience for the judges and 20 diners, as new dad Andy Allen makes an emotional return to the MasterChef kitchen to mentor the Top 3 and help run the pass.

At the end of an extraordinary service challenge, just two cooks will remain.

And on Sunday, 9 August at 7pm, the final two will go head-to-head in the MasterChef Australia Grand Finale, with one ultimately crowned MasterChef Australia champion for 2026.

The Grand Finale begins with a Mystery Box challenge, where the finalists will have 75 minutes to create a dish using ingredients paying tribute to some of the special guest judges who have stepped into the MasterChef kitchen throughout the season.

Then, for their final challenge, the competition reaches another level with the arrival of internationally acclaimed pastry chef Cherish Finden.

Best known as a formidable judge on Bake Off: The Professionals, Cherish is renowned for her extraordinary attention to detail, artistry and uncompromising standards in patisserie. With more than 25 years of international experience, she has collected numerous accolades and previously served as Executive Pastry Chef at London’s prestigious Langham Hotel.

For the final challenge of the season, Cherish unveils her spectacular Chinese Afternoon Tea, setting the finalists the monumental task of creating perfect replicas of each of her three intricate desserts, nine petit gateaux in total, in just five hours.

After one final marathon cook, one contestant will emerge victorious, claiming the coveted title of MasterChef Australia 2026.

Twenty-four amateur cooks entered the MasterChef kitchen with a dream. Now, only three remain.

Who will make it through the Semi Final? And who will ultimately lift the trophy and become MasterChef Australia champion for 2026?
