BEST OF THE BEST RETURN FOR LEGO® MASTERS GRAND MASTERS

PREMIERE MONDAY, APRIL 10
AT 7.30PM ON CHANNEL 9 AND 9NOW

Australia’s favourite entertainment show, the Logie Award winning LEGO® Masters, is returning April 10 at 7.30pm for its fifth and biggest season yet on Channel 9 and 9Now.

In a world first, the winners and top teams from previous seasons plus a new wildcard duo will face off in a supersized competition to determine the best of the best in LEGO ® Masters: Grand Masters.

Hamish Blake is back as host, alongside judge Ryan “Brickman” McNaught, for the toughest challenges ever, and new twists and turns to truly test this elite group of champion builders.

Ryan said: “Being Grand Masters, the expectation is already there. They all know they need to bring something new and exciting, something beyond their best, something we’ve never seen before, and they sure do.”

This year the challenges are tougher than ever, testing each contestant’s skills like never before. They include LEGO® worlds suspended high above the ground; an exciting movie mayhem scene using motors and explosives; and a rocket being launched into the sky.

There will also be special guest appearances from Sophie Monk, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki and – to celebrate 100 years of Disney storytelling – the iconic character Mickey Mouse.

Hamish said: “To be invited back this season for Grand Masters I think really solidifies me as the best host that has ever hosted LEGO® Masters Australia, and that is a huge honour.”

LEGO® Masters: Grand Masters will hit unbelievable heights of creativity as the best brick builders in the nation raid the ever-expanding brickpit to get one up on each other. Expect the greatest builds in LEGO® TV history as they battle for the most prized trophy of all.

LEGO® Masters: Grand Masters comes from producers Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay Company). The series is adapted from an original UK format from Tuesday’s Child Productions and The LEGO® Group.

Melissa Leong And Amaury Guichon Unveiled As Judges Of MasterChef: Dessert Masters.

Aussie viewers are in for a sweet treat this year with news that the delectable debut series of MasterChef: Dessert Masters will be headlined by judges Melissa Leong and internationally renowned chef Amaury Guichon.

Melissa and Amaury have all the ingredients to make this world-first addition to the MasterChef franchise a recipe for sweet success.

Cannes-born pastry chef, Amaury Guichon, is no stranger to addictive viewing. He has amassed over 50 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook for his chocolate masterpieces that mimic roulette wheels, robots, rocking horses, skateboards and more.

From delicate sugar work to life-sized chocolate sculptures, complex cakes and picture-perfect pastries, there is nothing this classically trained young gun can’t master.

Amaury’s incredible edible creations are matched only by his impressive resumé. At 21, Amaury was hired as the youngest executive pastry chef in Paris; now at 31 he boasts a 17-year career in pastry. Being in the spotlight is a piece of cake for Amaury, who hosted his own highly successful Netflix series, School of Chocolate in 2021.

Caramel and sea salt, lemon and meringue, cookies and cream – some things just go better together. That’s where fellow judge Melissa Leong comes in.

A food writer, critic, cookbook editor, radio presenter and MC, Melissa has become one of the nation’s favourite television personalities, for her role as a judge on MasterChef Australia.

Melissa is a household name who has worked with some of the most respected names and brands in Australian food, including Adriano Zumbo and Gelato Messina – so she knows what it takes to make a dynamite dessert.

Melissa said: “Desserts have the capacity to be magical. I’m excited to see what these talented chefs are capable of when let loose in the MasterChef kitchen.

“Creating a memorable dessert takes years of practice, technique and an exacting eye for detail. Throw people with these qualities into a place like the MasterChef kitchen and stand back… who knows what they will bring to life.”

Amaury said: “I feel very honoured to have been chosen to be part of this wonderful new adventure that will once again highlight our beautiful industry with all its craft and complexity. I am excited to discover what the contestants will create in order to wow us!”

Some of the most exciting names in pastry, desserts and all things sweet and delicious will bring their elite skills to the competition as they contend to be the nation’s first Dessert Master, and with $100,000 on the line, the pressure is on not to fudge it up.

Stay tuned for updates on the ultimate guilty pleasure indulgence, coming very soon to 10 and 10 Play.

Property Entrepreneurs Mitch And Mark To Host Location, Location, Location.

Property experts Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie plan to bring some fun and flair to house hunting when the dynamic duo front Network 10's new series Location, Location, Location.

Mitch and Mark won The Block in 2021 and have been buying and flipping properties together for nearly two decades, transforming some 20 properties from undesirable abodes into highly sought after homes, and ultimately turning their passion for property and renovating from a hobby into a successful career.

Mitch and Mark will use their extensive property prowess, buying, negotiating and real estate experience, and knowledge of the market to help everyday Australians find their dream home. Whether they are first-time home buyers or retiring, upsizing or downsizing, the duo will guide their house hunters through one of the most important and nerve-racking decisions of their lives.

Mitch and Mark said: "We are so excited to be hosting Location, Location, Location. It’s such a privilege to meet and help Aussies looking to find their new home in such a dynamic market, where hidden opportunities are just waiting to be found.

"We’ve learnt a lot from our own experiences of searching, buying, renovating and selling properties. We know how to look through the staging to see what a property is really offering, the good and the bad, and seeing the opportunities that others might not see in an ‘ugly duckling’ property that you can transform into a swan!

"We’ve loved watching the UK series, and now we are so thrilled to add our touch to the Aussie series. It’s going to be so much fun sharing our experience and knowledge."

Daniel Monaghan, Senior Vice President, Content and Programming, Paramount ANZ, said: "Mitch and Mark have really captured the nations heart and we are excited to have them join us here at 10. Their authentic, fun and warm approach makes them a perfect fit for the Network.

"Mitch and Mark aren’t just expert renovators, they’ve built successful careers in sales and marketing and their own property empire. Their unique backgrounds place them perfectly to shed some much needed light on Australia’s property market as they help Aussies make the most important purchase of their lives, plus we know they’ll make it entertaining! What’s not to love?"

Produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay company), Location, Location, Location is an original format from IWC Media (a Banijay company) distributed by Banijay Rights.

Casting for the exciting new season of Location, Location, Location is now open. Go to 10play.com.au/casting to apply.

FALL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN - AUSTRALIA’S NO.1 TELEVISION SERIES AND MOST TALKED ABOUT SOCIAL EXPERIMENT RETURNS IN 2024

Save the date: Australia’s favourite social experiment, Married at First Sight, returns for its most polarising season of next-level drama and a whole lot of love on Monday, January 29 at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Back bigger than ever to captivate the nation again and spark conversations across Australia, 20 brave singles ready for a chance at love will embark on their journey in the experiment with all of the romance, passion, emotion and drama that ensues.

Season 11 of Married at First Sight will bring a fresh take on the series with one of the most diverse cast of brides and grooms, a more age diverse mix including our oldest ever participant, and a same sex couple. Together, these loveable, relatable, everyday couples will bare their souls in the name of love.

In 2024, MAFS will push the limits on everything viewers think they know about the series. There will be even more heart-pounding romance and highly addictive drama with twists, turns and shocks - even beyond Final Vows - and rivalries, betrayals and heartbreak that will divide friendships and rock the experiment from beginning to end. This year’s experiment will test the participants in ways they have never imagined.

Love will blossom, secrets will be revealed, bombshells will be dropped. And which couples will choose to stay or leave?

Our trio of experts will return, certified sexologist Alessandra Rampolla alongside relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, first pairing and matching our singles entering the experiment, before guiding the couples throughout their journey and putting them to the ultimate test of developing genuine and long-lasting relationships.

There will be more breathtaking weddings, deeply romantic and sizzling honeymoons both interstate and overseas, as well as the infamously dramatic and explosive dinner parties and confronting commitment ceremonies.

Also returning will be Confessions Week, Alessandra’s Intimacy Week and Home Stays, where couples will travel to meet each other’s loved ones. The popular Couples Retreat will also return, with all couples going away together to a brand new location this year.

The participants will bare all, showing their honest, relatable and vulnerable sides as they immerse themselves in this fast-tracked experiment: from facing their nerves in meeting each other for the first time at the altar, to living together and working through challenges. They will also be put under the microscope and compare the highs and lows of their relationships with their fellow couples, as well as seeking guidance from the experts, in the hope of making their own marriage a long-term success.

Since its premiere in 2015 and over the last 10 spectacular seasons, Married at First Sight has grown to become the talk of the nation, capturing millions of viewers and the hearts of Australians, sparking endless conversations and making it television’s undisputed reality TV juggernaut.

Prepare to fall in love as television’s biggest show turns up the love meter another notch in 2024 for its most spellbinding season yet.

Married at First Sight is produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay company) for the 9Network.
