Scott Howard, Chief Operating Officer

Scott has been with Endemol Shine Australia since it was founded in 2010. Prior to his appointment as COO, Scott worked across every show that the company has ever produced as Commercial Director and before that, Head of Business Affairs. As COO, Scott leads all legal, business affairs, commercial, digital, communications, risk and operational management efforts at Endemol Shine.

Prior to arriving in Sydney in 1999, Scott was a partner in a Scottish commercial law firm in Edinburgh working with blue chip commercial companies and public bodies as well as with writers, directors, film bodies, theatres and galleries. He has also worked with and/ or held board positions on numerous film, theatre and arts organisations.

In Australia, Scott has worked with Tropfest, if Magazine and the Arts Law Centre, and set up and led the Asia Pacific arm of a Scottish IT firm for four years. He then moved into Australian television production in 2006, working for Crackerjack, Grundy and the merger of the two, Fremantle Media Australia, before joining Endemol Shine.
