Watch the build of your forever home! Two multi-million-dollar luxury homes up for grabs in Seven’s new series My Reno Rules

Coming to Seven and 7plus in 2026, My Reno Rules is a brand-new renovation competition that’s raising the stakes and flipping the script with two epic twists set to transform the lives of everyday Aussies.

Hosted by Dr Chris Brown, My Reno Rules sees four hardworking teams of Aussie battlers going head-to-head, breathing new life into two neighbouring rundown houses in a picturesque Melbourne suburb. Their mission? To transform these properties into breathtaking homes for the chance to win life-changing prize money to secure their own futures.

But it’s not just the contestants who walk away with the prize.

In a must-watch television event, the live grand final will see two lucky Australians receive a life-changing call telling them they’ve both won a spectacularly renovated, multi-million-dollar home – fully furnished, landscaped and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

The live prize draw will be managed by principal program sponsor, Adrian Portelli of LMCT+.

Dr Chris Brown said: “The term ‘life-changing’ can get thrown around a lot on TV, but this is absolutely that. Imagine winning a brand-new home – that’s going to be the reality for two lucky Aussies. And if you’re a passionate renovator, you could also win a massive cash prize. With the dream of owning your own home still top of the list for most Aussies, I can’t wait to have a front row seat to that becoming a reality. It’s going to be a heartwarming ride!”

LMCT+ founder Adrian Portelli said: “LMCT+ has always been about changing the lives of everyday Australians, so when this opportunity came up with Seven, it just felt right. For me, it’s about giving back – and doing it in a way that’s big, bold and exciting.

“These homes are in a beautiful area and have real potential. With the right teams and vision, they’re going to be incredible. I can’t wait to be part of a show granting lucky Aussies a brand-new future, and inspiring thousands more along the way.”

Seven Group Managing Director, Television, Angus Ross said: “My Kitchen Rules is one of Australia’s most successful original formats and a powerhouse brand for Seven. My Reno Rules takes all the heart and heat of MKR and applies it to renovation.

“With showstopping house transformations, a life-changing cash prize for our winning team of renovators, and two multi-million-dollar dream homes up for grabs in an electrifying live grand final, we couldn’t be more excited for the premiere of My Reno Rules. It’s going to be next level!”

Endemol Shine Australia, Director of Content, Tara McWilliams said: “My Reno Rules is as big and bold as a show can get and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it to life. With a prize of unprecedented scale, it promises to deliver high-stakes entertainment and a live finale that will have the whole country talking!”

Casting is underway for teams of renovators with an eye for design to join My Reno Rules – apply now at www.therenoshow.com.au.

My Reno Rules is a new format produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay Entertainment company) and distributed internationally by Banijay Rights for the Seven Network. The life-changing series will screen on Seven and 7plus in 2026.

Shaking Down The Thunder

Hear from AFL greats in the premiere documentary series on the Swans’ journey to break a 72-year Premiership drought

Shaking Down The Thunder, a four-part series premiering 10.00pm Wednesday on Seven and 7plus, takes an intimate look at the Sydney Swans’ journey to break the longest Premiership drought in AFL history, as they chase the 2005 flag.

Under the guidance of new wave coach Paul Roos, the beleaguered “Bloods” adopted a new ethos of leadership, brotherhood, commitment and empowerment which resulted in a new brand of football, one that at times raised eyebrows with critics.

Lead by a rotating group of captains including Barry Hall, and starring Michael O’Loughlin, Brett Kirk and young guns Adam Goodes, Jude Bolton and Leo Barry, the team would finally take to the hallowed turf at the MCG under blue skies for the AFL Grand Final against West Coast in front of 91,828 passionate fans.

It was a moment of hope, elation and nervousness for a club steeped in tradition dating back to 1874 in South Melbourne. Could this team break a 72-year Premiership drought against a formidable West Coast featuring maestro Ben Cousins?

Hear first hand from Goodes, O’Loughlin, Hall and a cast of former players, coaches, and members of the media how they overcame the odds to create history.

Shaking Down The Thunder is created and produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay Entertainment company) in association with AFL Studios and the Sydney Swans, for the Seven Network.
