MasterChef Australia Welcomes Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex, As Guest Judge.

Sunday, 26 July At 7pm On 10.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, joins the MasterChef Australia kitchen as a guest judge on Sunday, 26 July at 7pm on 10, bringing her love of food, entertaining and seasonal produce to one of the competition's most memorable challenges.

An entrepreneur, humanitarian and passionate home cook, Meghan sets a challenge for our cooks to create dishes that celebrate seasonal ingredients and the personal stories behind them.

Meghan's love of food has been reflected in recent projects including the global hit Netflix series With Love, Meghan and the launch of her bestselling lifestyle brand, As Ever, inspired by cooking, entertaining and thoughtful gifting.

Meghan said: “What attracted me to the MasterChef Australia kitchen? Two things: my love of food and my love of Australia. It was an easy yes.

“It’s such a great show. I’m just really honoured that I was asked to be able to be here with you and to be able to judge some of these meals.”

Bringing a selection of some of her favourite seasonal ingredients to the MasterChef Australia kitchen, Meghan challenges the cooks to create a dish fit for a Duchess, heroing one of the following: carrots, Jerusalem artichokes, Brussels sprouts, celeriac, local Australian honey, macadamia nuts, quince, lemons, apples, mandarins and strawberries. Through their chosen ingredient, the cooks are encouraged to celebrate what's in season while sharing something personal about themselves.

“These are all things that, for me, feel really nostalgic”, Meghan explains.

“I’d love it if there’s a connection that you can find when, as you’re cooking something, what is the story behind it?... What is something from your family or from a memory…something sentimental that we can also taste as we taste your dish.”

Meghan will be joined in the MasterChef Australia kitchen by judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Season 18 has welcomed a host of high-profile guests, from celebrated chefs like Rick Stein, Curtis Stone and Maggie Beer, to iconic food lovers including Jimmy and Jane Barnes and Robert Irwin.

This season has seen 24 of the finest amateur cooks battling it out for their spot in the kitchen, honing their skills and overcoming the pressures of the competition to plate up mouth-watering dishes.

Now, with only a handful of cooks remaining, every challenge matters as the race for the MasterChef Australia 2026 title enters its final stretch.

Who will impress Meghan and move one step closer to the MasterChef Australia 2026 title? Tune in on Sunday, 26 July at 7pm on 10.

MasterChef Australia is produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay Entertainment company) and distributed internationally by Banijay Rights.

From The MasterChef Kitchen To The Coles Freezer Aisle.

Hannah’s Cheeseburger Pie And Pat’s Salted Caramel & Bickie Crumble Ice Cream Available In Selected Coles Stores.

MasterChef Australia and Coles have once again raised the bar, this time offering fans the chance to take home two winning dishes made in the MasterChef kitchen.

During Aussie Classics week, celebrity chef and MasterChef Australia fan favourite Curtis Stone presented contestants with a Mystery Box challenge to create their own epic version of either a pie or ice cream.

Hannah Johnson’s Cheeseburger Pie served with potato chips and Pat McGarry’s Salted Caramel & Bickie Crumble Ice Cream plated up with apple pie, didn't just win them immunity from elimination, they won them a place in selected Coles stores across Australia.[1]

Hannah Johnson said: “It feels pretty amazing to have won this challenge and to have a product that I created on the shelves of Coles. I’m excited to actually see it in there, I think that’s when it’ll really hit me. I hope my kids like it just as much as the judges did!”

Pat McGarry said: “It feels completely surreal for my ice cream to be on the shelves at Coles. To think that my family, friends and even strangers will be seeing my face on the tubs of ice cream, boggles my mind! I cannot wait to take my little Frankie in store for her to see.”

Tamar Hovagimian, Director of National Advertising Partnerships, Paramount Australia, said: “The partnership between Coles and MasterChef Australia continues to set the benchmark for sponsorships in the market.

“After 18 seasons, we wanted to up the ante and offer consumers a complete meal experience direct from the MasterChef kitchen – Hannah’s Pie and Pat’s Ice Cream. We’re so excited for Australia to be able to share these flavours with their family and friends at home thanks to Coles.”

Carmel Horvath, Head of Sponsorships and Events, Coles, said: “Last season’s limited-edition MasterChef ice-cream sold out in just three days, so we’re excited to bring not one, but two winning creations from the MasterChef kitchen to our freezer aisle.

“Hannah’s Cheeseburger Pie and Pat’s Salted Caramel & Bickie Crumble Ice Cream are packed with flavour and fun, and we can’t wait for customers to try them for themselves.

“It’s a great way for Australians to recreate a little bit of the MasterChef experience at home.”

Marty Benson, Director of Content, Endemol Shine Australia said: “We’re very proud to have partnered with Coles again on this now iconic challenge, bringing a taste of MasterChef to life on tables around the country. Now in its fourth year, seeing two contestants have the honour and thrill of having their products on shelves at Coles doubles the joy, and we just love that Aussie families can have dinner and dessert sorted in an instant thanks to the Hannah and Pat, direct from the MasterChef kitchen.”

MasterChef Australia.

Sundays At 7pm, Monday To Wednesday At 7.30pm.

Watch + Stream On 10.
